My love for words began as a child when my parents read me bedtime stories and took me to drama school on the weekends – sparking what would be a lifelong passion for storytelling.

I have since had 12 years' experience working as a wordsmith, news producer and communications professional in New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. From web articles to video interviews, SEO headlines, social media posts and infographics, I've adapted my craft as the nature of digital content shifts how audiences engage with information.

While it helps for a copywriter to have a flair for words, I believe the essence of good writing is rooted in empathy and the ability to listen. It is in this spirit that I'm now also venturing into UX writing, to help create inclusive, intuitive and positive digital experiences for audiences.
